The ideal internship provides a supervisor who guides the student through the work experience and relates the task performed to the role of IT in an organization. Our interns expect to be challenged, to think, and to solve problems by utilizing skills learned in their courses. Enhancing their work experience by allowing them to attend seminars, meetings, and company events can also be part of their experience.
Academy student's internships are a win/win situation for both students and the company. This is a generation that has intuitive knowledge of computers as well as being trained in technology with emphasis on ethical issues related to technology in the workplace. By supporting one or more interns, your company/organization is not only helping to foster the professional growth of tomorrow's workforce, you are gaining motivated temporary staff and receiving local and national recognition for your efforts.
