The Art Economist powered by Connare Tech's ctCMS Launches in NYC
by Sanjay ConnareBUFFALO, NY - November 24, 2010 - Atop New York City's New Museum with a view of the Manhattan skyline, Connare Tech, Inc. Founder and CEO Sanjay Connare joined notable figures from the media and arts including Bob and Suzanne Wright, Tom Wolfe and Jane Holzer for the official launch of The Art Economist magazine, the first major commercial product to feature the Connare Tech Content Management Suite (ctCMS).
The Art Economist is the first magazine to focus on the investment and value of modern art. It features distinguished artist profiles, a young artists to watch section, in-depth interviews, and "The List," featuring the top 300 living earning artists, all in an advertisement-free publication.
The executive team of The Art Economist selected Connare Tech, Inc. to "translate the language and expression of one of the best and most beautiful magazines ever brought to print into a digital form," according to Bruce Helander, Editor-in-Chief of The Art Economist.
Connare Tech, Inc. provided the dynamic and scalable ctCMS as a premier, state-of the-art solution to all of The Art Economist's digital and web needs. The ctCMS solution provided Connare Tech, Inc.'s easy-to-use content management, news and press management, and subscription management software, allowing The Art Economist to accept and process subscriptions online, maintain a current and modern web presence and manage subscriber-only content.
The Art Economist will also use the ctCMS framework to manage, from start to finish, the digital publication of The Art Economist directly to the web for subscriber-only access. Each issue of the magazine can actually be conceived, written, edited, approved and published directly to the website using the ctCMS system, and can even be exported to print layout programs, bridging the gap between the two very different worlds of digital and print.
This is the largest-scale deployment of the ctCMS framework, and "clearly shows the scalability and adaptability of our flagship product to handle large amounts of data effortlessly, and all in real time, for web publishing and subscription management," according to Sanjay Connare, CEO and Founder of Connare Tech, Inc. "Our ctCMS brings the beauty of The Art Economist to the digital realm; being able to take a piece of work that is visually stunning in print and to convey that same experience in an effective and successful way via digital distribution is something we are very proud of."
Subscriptions for the magazine start at $400.00, and more information can be found at www.thearteconomist.com.
