The American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) signed into law by President Obama last
year will provide physicians with monetary incentives to use Electronic Health
Records (EHRs) along with additional grants and awards to support the effort. A
prerequisite to receiving incentive payments will require physicians to
demonstrate "meaningful use" of an EHR.
Join us for a presentation on EHRs,
the goals for meaningful use and learn about the successful collaboration
activities underway in WNY for the advancement of health care. We'll also take
a look at emerging technology standards and IT's pivotal role in transforming
health care delivery.
